E Taylor & Son Funeral Directors were established by my great grandfather in 1885, in the village of Kencot where the family had lived since the 1600’s, and is still today family owned and supported by a dedicated, professional team of staff.

We pride ourselves a great deal on the service we offer to our clients. We are very much traditional funeral directors and are always sympathetic to the needs of the individual and to the way in which they want their funeral carried out. For example we can arrange all denominations, Humanist, eco-friendly or themed funerals.

We offer full funeral director services, from removal of the deceased 24 hours a day to our chapel of rest, arranging burials and cremations either locally or out of the area if required. Including liaising with clergy, crematoriums, cemeteries, florists, printers and other requirements.

We also repatriate to any part of the country or worldwide and embalm if required. We have a chapel of rest with two chapels set in two acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, where families may sit to reflect.
